John 19:42

There then because of the Jews' Preparation (for the tomb was nigh at hand) they laid Jesus.

They placed Jesus there because of the Jewish day of preparation and since the tomb was nearby.

So because of the Jewish day of Preparation, since the tomb was close at hand, they laid Jesus there.

There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day ; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby.
