And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell thee?
So Samsonâs wife came to him, weeping, and said, âYou hate me and donât love me! You told my people the riddle, but havenât explained it to me.â âLook,â he said, âI havenât even explained it to my father or mother, so why should I explain it to you? â
And Samsonâs wife wept over him and said, âYou only hate me; you do not love me. You have put a riddle to my people, and you have not told me what it is.â And he said to her, âBehold, I have not told my father nor my mother, and shall I tell you?â
So Samsonâs wife wept in front of him and said, âYou only hate me, and you do not love me; you have proposed a riddle to the sons of my people, and have not told it to me.â And he said to her, âBehold, I have not told it to my father or mother; so should I tell you?â
Then Samsonâs wife threw herself on him, sobbing, âYou hate me! You donât really love me. Youâve given my people a riddle, but you havenât told me the answer.â âI havenât even explained it to my father or mother,â he replied, âso why should I explain it to you?â
Then Samsonâs wife wept on him, and said, âYou only hate me! You do not love me! You have posed a riddle to the sons of my people, but you have not explained it to me.â And he said to her, âLook, I have not explained it to my father or my mother; so should I explain it to you?â
So Samsonâs wife came to him in tears and said, âYou donât love me; you hate me! You have given my people a riddle, but you havenât told me the answer.â âI havenât even given the answer to my father or mother,â he replied. âWhy should I tell you?â
Samsonâs wife wept before him, and said, âYou just hate me, and donât love me. Youâve told a riddle to the children of my people, and havenât told it to me.â He said to her, âBehold, I havenât told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?â
