Devotional Guidance
My dear one, when we look at the concept of vanity, the Bible gently reminds us that the things we chase in this fleeting world—our ambitions, our youth, and the temporary achievements of our hands—are ultimately empty. Earthly pursuits are shadows, and they cannot satisfy the deep longing of our souls.
Instead of wasting precious time on what fades, we are called to seek true substance. Remember that your worth is not found in temporal success, but in the enduring truth of your relationship with God. Though life may bring darkness and sorrow, we are not alone; God is our ultimate help and deliverer. By trusting Him, we find peace and recognize that true value lies not in what we possess, but in the eternal life He offers. Let us focus our hearts on the everlasting, for that is where true fulfillment resides.
Proverbs 31:31
31. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Ecclesiastes 11:10
10. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
Job 23:17
17. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
Matthew 19:30
30. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Psalms 70:5
5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
