What the Bible says about: temptation

Devotional Guidance

My beloved children, when we face the trials of temptation, remember that you are not alone. Though the struggles of the heart are real—and we all experience the weight of difficulty—God is faithful and mighty in your midst. The scriptures teach us that temptation is a common human experience, but it never overwhelms you. God does not allow you to be tested beyond your ability to handle it. Instead of fear, we are called to trust in His promise: He provides a way to escape and the strength to endure. When the path seems difficult, turn to Him, for He is your help and your deliverer. Flee from what distracts you, and rest in the assurance that you can bear whatever comes, because your hope is anchored in His unfailing love.
Psalms 70:5
5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Job 9:34-35
34. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me: 35. Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
Exodus 6:30
30. And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
1 Corinthians 10:13-16
13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it . 14. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. 15. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
Job 3:26
26. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
