Devotional Guidance
My beloved child, know this: when the shadows of trouble fall upon your heart, remember that you are never truly alone. The Bible teaches us that suffering is a deeply human experience—a time when we feel poor, needy, and overwhelmed. Yet, even in the deepest sorrow, God is present.
Though life brings hardship, it is not without purpose. We are called to endure, trusting that our struggles are not meaningless, but rather opportunities for deeper faith and a chance to know His strength. When we suffer for His sake, we share in the conflict and find a profound peace that surpasses understanding. Lean into His help, for He is your deliverer and your hope, guiding you through every darkness until we see the light of eternal joy.
Job 3:26
26. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Psalms 70:5
5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Philippians 1:29-30
29. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; 30. Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
Lamentations 1:11-13
11. All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. 12. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
Job 23:17
17. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
