Devotional Guidance
My beloved children, kindness is the very heart of the God we serve. It is not merely a soft feeling, but a powerful, active way of living that flows directly from the deep compassion of our Father.
True kindness—which we call charity—is defined by patience, humility, and a willingness to give without expectation. It means extending grace to one another, offering open-hearted hospitality, and choosing forgiveness over anger. When we act with this love, we reflect the boundless mercy God has shown us. Let us strive to be stewards of this divine grace, giving generously to the needy and putting away all harshness, so that the light of Christ shines brightly in every interaction we have.
1 Peter 4:8-11
8. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Psalms 86:15-17
15. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. 16. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. 17. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it , and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
Deuteronomy 15:10-12
10. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
Ephesians 4:31-32
31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
