What the Bible says about: justice

Devotional Guidance

My dear child, let your heart rest in the truth of what the Scriptures reveal about justice. True justice is not merely a rule, but a deep, compassionate reflection of God’s heart. It calls us to see the world through the eyes of the vulnerable, ensuring that those who are oppressed and forgotten are cared for and upheld. Remember that our lives are a reflection of divine righteousness. When we live justly—by treating others with kindness, honoring our neighbors, and refusing to oppress—we align ourselves with God. Though the world may seek favor, remember that every judgment ultimately comes from the Lord. We are called to live uprightly, knowing that through grace, we are delivered and justified, inviting us to pursue a life of integrity and love for all.
Psalms 10:18
18. To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Psalms 22:31
31. They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this .
Romans 4:25
25. Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Ezekiel 18:5-8
5. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, 6. And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman, 7. And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
Proverbs 29:26-27
26. Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from the LORD. 27. An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
