Devotional Guidance
My beloved child, let your heart be open to the truth of the Scriptures. The Bible teaches us that the deepest form of worship belongs only to the Lord. When we seek to worship anything other than Him—whether it is a carved image, a possession, or a desire—we are placing our trust and devotion in the wrong place.
True life is found when we remember that we have been lent to the Lord, and our lives should be dedicated to Him alone. Instead of chasing fleeting vanity, let us remove sorrow and evil from our hearts, and focus instead on the good works that bring praise to His holy name. Let your actions and your life be the fruit that honors Him, for in Him alone do we find everlasting blessing.
Psalms 145:21
21. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
2 Chronicles 33:7-8
7. And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
