Devotional Guidance
My beloved child, come to me, and let your heart be still. Humility is not merely thinking less of yourself, but recognizing your true place within the grand design of God. It is the gentle posture of surrender—acknowledging that you are a beloved child under the mighty hand of the Almighty.
When we choose humility, we open ourselves to receive the deep rest and grace that only comes from trusting Him completely. The proud resist His peace, but the humble are clothed in His favor. By casting your cares upon Him, you find true wisdom and the eternal glory that never fades. Embrace this path of meekness, and you will discover that the yoke of Christ is easy, bringing profound peace to your soul.
1 Peter 5:4-8
4. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 5. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Colossians 2:23
23. Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
Matthew 11:28-30
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
