Devotional Guidance
My beloved children, generosity is not merely about what we possess, but about the boundless love we share. The Scriptures teach us that when we open our hands to give, we are aligning ourselves with the heart of God. True giving flows from a spirit of cheerful stewardship, recognizing that everything we have is a gift from Him, and we are called to use it to bless others.
When we give freely, we invite God’s abundance into our lives, and He promises to bless us in return. Let us practice this generosity not grudgingly, but with a heart full of fervent charity, extending kindness and hospitality to all those in need. By sharing what we have, we cover the world with grace and fulfill the command to care for our neighbors, knowing that in giving, we truly receive the deepest blessings.
2 Chronicles 11:23
23. And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.
Mark 12:44
44. For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
1 Peter 4:8-11
8. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
2 Corinthians 9:6-9
6. But this I say , He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things , may abound to every good work:
Deuteronomy 15:10-12
10. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
