Devotional Guidance
My beloved child, if you are carrying a heavy heart, know that you are not walking this path alone. The Scriptures teach us that deep sorrow and the feeling of being broken are real burdens we all face. When the world brings troubles and distress, we are not meant to carry that weight in silence.
God invites us to release our pain and allow Him to heal what is broken within us. He calls us to remove the sorrow from our hearts and find strength in Him, even when we feel utterly weary. Remember that though life can feel like deep waters, there is a divine hope waiting for you. Lean into the peace that surpasses understanding, for in seeking Him, we find true life and restoration.
Ecclesiastes 11:10
10. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
Psalms 38:6-11
6. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. 7. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease : and there is no soundness in my flesh. 8. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. 9. Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. 10. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
Isaiah 38:14-17
14. Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me. 15. What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it : I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul. 16. O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Psalms 31:10-13
10. For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed. 11. I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. 12. I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
Psalms 69:1-4
1. To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. 2. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
