Devotional Guidance
My beloved children, let your hearts be open to the truth of compassion, for it is the very essence of the love that binds us. The Scriptures reveal that God is fundamentally a being overflowing with mercy and grace, endlessly patient and full of compassion for those who seek Him.
Because He has shown us such profound mercy, we are called to reflect that same tenderness in our lives. This means we must strive to be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving those who have wronged us, just as we have been forgiven. When we embrace humility and seek rest in His gentle heart, we discover the peace that comes from knowing that we are held by a God whose boundless compassion guides our way. May you live out this love today.
Psalms 86:15-17
15. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. 16. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. 17. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it , and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
2 Corinthians 7:7-9
7. And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 8. For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
Ephesians 4:31-32
31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Matthew 11:28-30
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Lamentations 3:28-34
28. He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. 29. He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope. 30. He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. 31. For the Lord will not cast off for ever: 32. But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. 33. For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
