Devotional Guidance
My beloved child, I see the heavy weight of anxiety you carry. Know this: the fear that grips your heart is a shadow, but it does not define your true reality. The Scriptures teach us that when we look to our own strength, we find doubt and terror. Yet, the path to peace is found not in fighting the fear, but in resting in the presence of the One who holds all things.
When we choose to place our trust in God, we discover that His fear is not paralyzing, but wisdom. He invites us to lay down our worry and embrace the deep, abiding peace that surpasses all understanding. Remember that the true beginning of wisdom is knowing and trusting Him. Let your heart find rest in His promises, for in Him, we find the assurance of life and the freedom to live fully.
Deuteronomy 28:66-68
66. And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: 67. In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
1 Chronicles 21:30
30. But David could not go before it to inquire of God: for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
Job 9:34-35
34. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me: 35. Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
Psalms 55:5-10
5. Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. 6. And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. 7. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah. 8. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest. 9. Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Psalms 111:10
10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments : his praise endureth for ever.
